Please note that to become a
tutor you must have at least an undergraduate degree and/or suitable teaching qualification and you must also
be able to provide the details of at least 2 referees.
How we work
Once accepted as a tutor, we will
contact you when we receive a suitable enquiry to check if you are able to
teach the prospective student. The student's details and tuition rate will then be passed to you
and it is your responsibility to contact the client and arrange the initial lesson
time, place etc. If for any reason, you are unable to accept a particular
student you must contact us immediately so another tutor can be found.
At the end of each month you must
complete a timesheet and return it to us with a cheque for the commission as
agreed. As a tutor, you will be working on a self-employed basis and are
therefore responsible for your own income tax and National Insurance contributions.
